Raleigh UK was founded in 1879 by Frank Bowden, who saw first hand the positive impact that the Bicycle has on people’s lives.

10 years later, Raleigh became the largest bike manufacturer and the UK’s best known cycling brand. In 2021, they still believe in the #PowerOfBicycles, which is why they have chosen World Bicycle Relief as their Corporate charity.

World Bicycle Relief is a global organisation which has provided over 500,000 robust and sustainable bicycles to students, healthcare workers, and other individuals in developing countries over the last 15 years. The number-one goal is to see quality bicycle transportation as a legitimate economic empowerment tool.

A Buffalo Bicycle is not your average Bike - it's a life changer. Engineered for heavy loads, long distances, and rugged terrain it is the only bike strong enough to triumph against rugged roads in developing countries.

World Bicycle Relief envisions a world where distance is no longer a barrier to independence and livelihood. So, every £120 raised puts a buffalo bicycle in the hands of someone who has only ever walked, or gives a child access to an education.

Any donation is greatly appreciated, and will help World Bicycle Relief keep communities mobilised and help those in need.
