We set out to raise £20k on this page in recognition of the awesome effort that Hank made trenching last week.  An extremely charitable donor had offered to match that amount.  He has now offered to INCREASE this to £25k.  The cut off for this extra donation is Monday lunchtime.  Another £10k equals almost an extra 100 bikes.  So if you haven't already seen the video and felt the pain please watch and donate.

The Mariana Trench is the lowest point on the planet, and probably of Hank's life, as he takes on the challenge of descending 11,034m in one day for World Bicycle Relief.

World Bicycle Relief mobilises people through The Power of Bicycles and is committed to helping people conquer the challenge of distance, achieve independence and thrive. In developing countries, millions of people walk for miles each day just to survive. Distance is a barrier to attending school, receiving healthcare, and delivering goods to the market. World Bicycle Relief provides specially designed, locally assembled, rugged bicycles for people in need. We've developed an efficient, innovative, and scalable model to empower students, health workers, and entrepreneurs in rural, developing regions with life-changing mobility.

We know bicycles can make a life-saving difference. Our programme partners urgently need more bikes for healthcare workers who are the first line of defence in rural communities.

A Buffalo Bicycle is not your average bike - it's a life-changer. Engineered for heavy loads, long distances, and rugged terrain it is the only bike strong enough to triumph against rough roads in developing countries. It costs £120 to give the gift of a Buffalo Bicycle.

Thank you for believing in the Power of Bicycles!
